C.Myers & Son, Athol Rd., Hand Forged in Sheffield, England.

This company began as the Kropp Manufacturing Co., razor manufacturer, based in Athol Road, near Meersbrook.
The owner was Charlie Myers. In 1933, the company became C. Myers & Sons, "practical razor manufacturers", No 51 Athol Road.
Charles Myers, Trap Lane, was the director after the WWII. The firm remained in Athol Road into the 1960s.
At that time there were only three razor makers left in Sheffield: Cadman, Ragg, and Myers, who worked together.
Ragg eventually took over Myers, with the Athol Road factory continuing in operation.
It had closed down by the 1990s.
The blade is 11/16, round point, full hollow ground.
There is some pitting on the blade.
